Chlorhexidine Gluconate:
Bepanthene Plus is an antiseptic agent. Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) is active against vegetative forms of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and yeasts, dermatophytes and lipophilic viruses. This medicine has effect for bacterial spores only at elevated temperatures. It cleans and disinfects the skin without causing damage.
For local use of Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) Pharmaniaga: trichomonas coleitis, cervical erosion, itching of the vulva, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (including gonorrhea, syphilis, trichomoniasis, chlamydia, ureaplasmosis); gingivitis, stomatitis, aphthae, paradont, alveolitis, disinfection of removable dentures, sore throat; postoperative care for patients in ENT and dentistry.
Treatment of wounds, burn wounds and surfaces, disinfection of the patient's skin.
Treatment of surgeons', nurses' hands and operating field before diagnostic manipulation operation.
Disinfection of work surfaces of devices (including thermometers) and equipment which heat treatment is not desirable.
The dose and method of Bepanthene Plus application depend on the testimony and dosage form of Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate).
Use only locally. 0,5% alcohol or 1% aqueous solution for 2-5 min is applied to the corresponding surface. In dentistry solution for mouthwash and gel are prescribed 2-3 times a day.
Perhaps allergic reaction. Dry and itchy skin, dermatitis, stickiness of hands for 3-5 min, stained teeth, the deposition of tartar, breach of taste (in the treatment of gingivitis).
Hypersensitivity to Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate), dermatitis, allergic reactions.
Remains active in the presence of impurities of blood and organic matter. Should not enter the Bepanthene Plus in the eye (except for special dosage form prescribed for washing the eye), as well as contact with the meninges and the auditory nerve.
Avoid using Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) with iodine preparations.
Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) is incompatible with the soap, and detergents containing anionic group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose).
Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) is compatible with any medication containing cationic group (cetrimonium bromide, benzalkonium chloride).

Topical Antiseptic Flushing Solution
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride) Gluconate 0.2%, Ketoconazole 0.2%, Phytosphingosine salicyloyl 0.02%.
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Water, Propylene Glycol, Nonoxynol-12, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Lactic Acid, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Aloe Barbadenis Leaf Juice.
PROPERTIES: Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride) +PS Flush is a solution designed for the antiseptic cleansing of the skin on dogs and cats. It is rubbing alcohol free and moisturizing. Ketoseb +PS Flush also contains phytosphingosine, a Ceva exclusive pro-ceramide to help support a healthy skin barrier.
INDICATIONS: For use on dogs and cats only. For antiseptic cleansing of puncture wounds, lacerations and abrasions. May also be used for the management of localized skin infections that are responsive to Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride) and ketoconazole.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply Bepanthene Plus (Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride) +PS Flush liberally to affected area. Use cotton or absorbent material to clean the excess solution. Do not allow the animal to lick the treated area until dry. Apply twice a day or as directed by your veterinarian.
CAUTIONS: For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If skin irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian.
WARNING: Keep out of the reach of children.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature. Do not freeze.

Depending on the reaction of the Bepanthene Plus after taken, if you are feeling dizziness, drowsiness or any weakness as a reaction on your body, Then consider Bepanthene Plus not safe to drive or operate heavy machine after consumption. Meaning that, do not drive or operate heavy duty machines after taking the capsule if the capsule has a strange reaction on your body like dizziness, drowsiness. As prescribed by a pharmacist, it is dangerous to take alcohol while taking medicines as it exposed patients to drowsiness and health risk. Please take note of such effect most especially when taking Primosa capsule. It's advisable to consult your doctor on time for a proper recommendation and medical consultations.
