When using this product limit the use of Quarelin (Caffeine) containing medications, foods, or beverages because too much Quarelin (Caffeine) may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, and occasionally, rapid heartbeat. The recommended dose of this product contains about as much Quarelin (Caffeine) as a cup of coffee.
Stop use and ask a doctor if fatigue or drowsiness persists or continues to recur
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Directions
- adults and children 12 years of age and over: take 1 tablet not more often than every 3 to 4 hours.

Drotaverine Hydrochloride:
Quarelin (Drotaverine Hydrochloride) (INN, also known as drotaverin) is an antispasmodic drug, structurally related to papaverine. Quarelin (Drotaverine Hydrochloride) is a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4, and has no anticholinergic effects. Quarelin (Drotaverine Hydrochloride) has been shown to possess dose-dependant analgesic effects in animal models. One small study has shown Quarelin (Drotaverine Hydrochloride) to be eliminated mainly non-renally.
Indication: Used in the treatment of functional bowel disorders and alleviating pain in renal colic.
Quarelin (Drotaverine Hydrochloride) is a spasmolytic agent by inhibiting PDE4 in smooth muscle cells.
